Eczema Causes That You Can Avoid-Beat Your Eczema Today

There is not one main thing that is an Eczema cause, it is more a build up of several different factors that increase the severity of the Eczema symptoms. Luckily though, if you know a few of these factors you can take steps to reducing your suffering. I have compiled a list of the most common causes of Eczema to help you...

Eczema Cause 1-
Dry Skin. Some would say that the dry skin is just another symptom of the Eczema condition, but did you know that if you work at keeping the skin moisturised, the Eczema will not affect it so badly? Moist flexible skin can prevent both the itching and the cracking that occurs.

Eczema Cause 2-
Bad Diet. It’s commonly thought that foods which are high in acidity are bad for Eczema, something in that acid can make it flare up very badly. Unfortunately, some kinds of acid have been proven to be very good for Eczema, so it can be tough to see what food to avoid and what to stock up on. The best bet is probably to visit a good dietician, they may even me able to prepare some meal plans for you.

Eczema Cause 3-
Bad Clothing. Did you know that the clothes you are wearing right now can be adding to your discomfort and making the Eczema worse? Many Eczema sufferers don’t realise that certain kinds of fabric and clothing can be directly related to any flare ups they experience. It’s best to avoid anything woollen or itchy, and try to aim for soft clothes which are 100% cotton.

Eczema Cause 4-
Scents/Perfumes etc. Many people feel the need to douse themselves in perfume/aftershave before they leave the house, but if you are an Eczema sufferer, this is a real nono. Perfumes and things like that have awful effects on the healthiest skin, as they are largely made up of alcohol which will dry your skin faster than you would believe. If it can damage healthy skin, can you imagine what it can do to the skin of an Eczema sufferer?

Eczema Cause 5-
Scented Detergents/Soaps/Washing Powder etc. Just like aftershaves and perfumes can really attack your skin, so can the perfuming agents in detergents etc. These can be even worse in many cases, as they will be rubbing against your skin constantly, inflaming it, making it sore, making it itch, and just growing worse as the day goes on. Imagine the irritation of having to put up with that during a long day at the office!

As we said, there is more than one Eczema cause-there isn’t just one thing people can avoid in order to never suffer again, but if you apply some common sense and keep the tips above in mind, you can really dial down your suffering. Of course if that’s not good enough for you an you would like to let your life blossom by getting rid of Eczema altogether, there are some useful links below...
