Currently Nanobots are in the Hypothetical stage or Development stage so to speak. Scientist know that they can be created and will work, it's just working out the bugs I guess. The Technology of Nanobots may be some time yet to come but I am sure with the way Technology is going it won't be much longer, which brings me to my next point. For Those who probably won't get to see this technology (which is probably all of us right now) there is an Option.
"We can be Cryogenically Frozen (Cryopreservation)... "after we die"... until the Technology is available to thaw us out and fix whatever was wrong or went wrong."
Cryopreservation is a process where cells or whole tissues are preserved by cooling to low sub-zero temperatures, (they freeze you in Liquid Nitrogen) At these low temperatures, any biological activity, including the biochemical reactions that would lead to cell death, is effectively stopped. The Problem is we don't have the Technology as of yet to Successfully Revive a Person without Damaging there Cells.
Cryogenics or (Cryopreservation) may be the link to Nanobot Technology in the future. Allot of Scientists (along with me) believe it's just a matter of time before we have this Technology. Until we have this Successfully mastered this Technology with nanobots we do have the option of being cryogenically frozen after we die, this in itself could have huge impacts on the Disabled, Diseased, Blind and injured. (It gives them and us hope)
Cryopreservation is Relatively inexpensive, some companies will allow you to use your Health Insurance as a means of funding your cryopreservation, the only thing is you have to name them the Beneficiary, and have enough coverage to pay for there services.
